Fremont Plaza Ace Hardware and Education Across Africa

Fremont Plaza Ace Hardware has partnered with Education Across Africa and Stockton Unified School District to recycle used text books scheduled for shredding.
Ace collects the used textbooks and stores them until Education Across Africa can arrange shipping to impoverished villages in Africa.
Education Across Africa then partners with major corporations such as Shell Oil Corporation who agree to ship them for free.
Very few school books are available throughout Africa; making these textbooks once scheduled for the shredder truly priceless.
